The investigative judgment of the righteous begins. (Rev 14:7)

For (in favor of) the righteous (Da 7:22, 1Pe 4:17)

Against Satan and his wicked confederation (compare Day of Atonement Lev 16:20-22)

For the benefit of the angels (unfallen beings) (compare 1Pe 1:10-12)

The eternal gospel is preached to all nations. (Mt 24:14, Rev 14:6)

There is a falling away (apostasy) in the church. (2Th 2:2,3, 1Ti 4:1, 2Ti 4:3,4)

Godlessness abounds. (2Ti 3:1-5)

Defiant sin abounds. (Ro 1:20-32, Rev 9:20,21)

Warning messages are heralded to all nations by God's remnant. (2Th 2:1-3,7-9, Rev 14:8-12 compare (Rev 12:17), Rev 18:1-5)

Modern Babylon assumes world-wide power.

Signs and wonders sway the masses. (Rev 13:11-14, Rev 16:13-16, Rev 19:20)

The masses worship the image of the beast. (Rev 13:3,4, Rev 13:11,12)

God's remnant is persecuted under the mark of the beast. (Rev 13:15-17)

Close of probation (Rev 22:11,12)

Seven last plagues (Rev 15:1, Rev 16:1,2,9-11,17-21)

Second Advent of Jesus Christ

Jesus comes with His angels (Mt 24:30,31, Mt 25:31,32, Rev 19:11-16)

The executive judgment of the righteous occurs.

Righteous dead raised first (Da 12:1,2, 1Th 4:16)

The first resurrection (Ac 24:15, Rev 20:6)

The resurrection of life (Jn 5:28,29)

Righteous (raised and living) meet Jesus in the air (1Th 4:16-18, Rev 14:14-16)

Righteous are transformed into their glorified immortal bodies (Isa 35:4-6, 1Co 15:42-44,51-54, Php 3:20,21)

The leaders/agents of the beast and false prophet systems are destroyed as they gather to make war against Jesus (2Th 2:8,9, Rev 19:19,20)

They make war against Jesus by attempting to destroy His people. (Dt 3:22, Ps 35:1-3, Rev 13:15, Rev 17:12-14)

The rest of the wicked living are also destroyed. (Jer 25:33,37,38, Mt 13:40-43, Lk 17:29,30, 2Th 1:7-10, Rev 14:17-20, Rev 19:17,18,21)

Wicked dead remain dead (Rev 20:5)

The Millennium  Satan During Millennium

The righteous are taken to heaven for 1,000 years. (Jn 14:1-3, Rev 20:6)

Satan and his demons are bound on a desolate earth by chains of circumstance. (Isa 14:12-20, Isa 24:3, Jer 4:23-26, Rev 20:1-3,5)

The investigative judgment of the wicked begins.

Against the wicked (people, Satan, and fallen angels) (1Co 6:2,3, 1Pe 4:17,18)

For the benefit of the righteous (Rev 20:4-6)

Third Advent of Jesus Christ

Jesus returns with the righteous to the Mount of Olives. (Zec 14:3-9)

This location was foretold. (Lk 24:50,51 (Bethany is on a slope of the Mount of Olives), Ac 1:10,11)

New Jerusalem descends to earth. (Rev 21:2,3,10)

Wicked dead are raised

The second resurrection (Ac 24:15, Rev 20:5)

The resurrection of condemnation (Jn 5:28,29)

Satan is loosed (from chains of circumstance) and deceives the wicked into attacking the holy city. (Rev 20:7-9)

Note: The fate of Satan and the wicked in Rev 20:9,10 is parenthetical and occurs at the end of the great white throne judgment.

The executive judgment of the wicked (great white throne judgment) occurs. (Rev 20:11-15)

Against the wicked (Rev 20:5,12)

Note: The book of life contains only the righteous (the fruit of the first resurrection). (Rev 20:6)

For the benefit of the wicked (Jude 1:14,15)

Jesus' glory is reviewed in panoramic majesty (His perfect life and perfect death) (Isa 40:5)

The wicked behold the enormity of their personal and corporate guilt.

Every knee shall bow (God is vindicated before the entire universe). (Isa 45:22,23, Ro 14:11, Php 2:10,11)

Wicked are destroyed by fire (the second death) (Mal 4:1-3, Mt 25:41, Rev 11:18, Rev 20:9,15, Rev 21:7,8, Rev 22:14,15)

Note on Rev 22:14,15: The wicked are outside of the city and dead (compare Ro 6:23)

Satan and his angels are also destroyed by this fire. (Jer 51:25, Eze 28:17-19, Mt 25:41, Rev 20:10)

The new earth (heaven) is created. (Isa 65:17, 2Pe 3:10-13, Rev 21:1-5, Rev 21:9-27, Rev 22:1-5, Isa 11:9)
